Carers UK have published shocking new figures on the scale of financial hardship unpaid carers are in. We are calling on the Government to take urgent steps to improve support offered to unpaid carers.

Carer’s Allowance needs a full review, to increase the level of support and to change the eligibility criteria and processes to ensure unpaid carers are supported in a variety of situations.
