Carers Active project, NHS London and ADASS London online event: Supporting carers in London to be more active

 With the New Year many of us will have recently made resolutions to improve our health and wellbeing in 2023. For those who are caring these resolutions can be hard to sustain.

Please join us on 21st February 2pm-3pm for an on-line event all about supporting our

One million unpaid carers in London to be more physically active to support their health and wellbeing

Carers UK’s Carers Active project has been set up through Sport England funding in order to support unpaid carers across the country to be more physically active. The event will allow you to learn about the experiences of carers and physical activity and the aims of the Carers Active project, hear about some good practice examples, and find out how you can get behind the Carers Active April campaign month this Spring.

This event is FREE to attend for all:

  •         Health and care staff regardless of their role
  •         Voluntary sector partners
  •         Social prescribers
  •         Local authority including public health staff
  •         Staff health and wellbeing groups
  •         Carers
  •         Sports providers
